Party Time!

It was a great day yesterday. Tommy his 12month +1 day Birthday party with several friends.

The party was a farm themed party. Joe wanted to dress Tillie up in a Cow costume, but he could not get the costume in time - So we sent her up to Cindy's for the day.



Amy's friend Jill built a huge upstate New York style cardboard barn. The barn was delivered in several pieces and assemble over beer and wine on Thursday. It was a very impressive design - something Amy and Joe could not do. Note the detail - each shingle was hand cut.



Amy and Joe got Tommy a kitchen and a red wagon (the red wagon has not arrived yet - thanks Walmart for the speedy delivery)

Here comes the cake......Tommy really enjoyed his Birthday cupcake. In true 1 year old fashion he tried to jam the entire cupcake in his mouth and got all the frosting up his nose. He also enjoyed some birthday ice cream after his cake.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Skiles!

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Indiana, where we celebrated Grandpa Skiles 95th birthday, Amy's 30th birthday, and Mother's Day! It was a great weekend.

On another note...here is a video of Tommy at one of our playdates. The kids got into some mischief!

Cousin Ben

We just arrived home from our trip to New Mexico. It was so nice to see Coco and Papi. Amy and Tommy got to meet Cousin Ben for the first time!

Both boys are big Sox fans!!

It was nice to soak up some sun. We were hoping the sun would follow us home...but it didn't. Oh well, it was nice while in lasted!

Spring is in the Air!

Spring has finally arrived! We have been trying to enjoy every minute of it. Last weekend we rented a house in Rockport with some friends. We had such a great time catching up with everybody.

Tommy had a great time playing with his friend Noah. Nothing like a Corona box to add some fun to your weekend!

Back at home, Tommy has been enjoying his first spring. We have gone on a picnic...

He had his first swing ride....

We also went to baby gymnastics. Lots of fun!

Playing in the Park

Tommy and Mommy joined a playgroup a couple of months ago. We both LOVE getting out and meeting new people. Lately we have been going on playdates almost everyday, which is such a great way to pass our afternoons. We have done so many new and exciting things. Today we went to the park.
