Tommy Turns 3!

Tommy had a great birthday yesterday. The weather was beautiful! Both kids were up at 5:30 and gifts were all opened by 6.

Joe made a great birthday breakfast...chocolate chip pancakes. Then it was scooter time!!! Tommy loves his new scooter!

Then we went for a nice walk with Tillie at Weir Hill. Back at home, Tommy spent the rest of the afternoon "helping" Daddy build the new fence with his new toolbox.

Kate had a great day. She wasn't jealous at all, even with Tommy repeatedly screaming, "It's not your birthday" in her face.


Then it was time for cake!!!

I think we got him all tuckered out!!

Kate's the big ONE - It's PARTY TIME!!!!!

Not only is it the one year anniversy of owning our Honda Accord, but it is also Kate's 1st birthday. It is hard to believe that one year ago today, Amy and I went to Action Cove playground, test drove cars, bought the Accord and had Kate all before 11:25pm. A very productive day.

A few thoughts about Kate

• I always think Kate's birthday is on the 5th or the 3rd. May 5th was the day of the scheduled c-section and she was born so late on the 2nd I always think of it being the 3rd.
• Her eyes are starting to turn from blue to green.
• Her hair is red with curls in the back - we are wondering how curly it will be.
• Tall and skinny - just like a model.
• Along with the red hair comes the red headed temper. She definitely has a strong will and an attitude.
• She is a cuddle bug. Always snuggling up to us.
• She prefers to "sleep" in the big bed with mom and dad rather than in her bed. Her defintion of sleep is snoozing for 10 minutes followed by belly flops on mom and head butts for dad.
• Kate proves that a human being can live only on hot dogs.
